Project Details

This will serve as a playful, lighthearted ad for an app with an alarm feature, rather than going fully vector or fully character animation. Combining both styles just works best.

Behind The Scenes

Creating this sneaking cycle was a lot of fun. I aimed to make it as realistic as possible. There is a noticeable change in momentum when he takes a step, as he shifts his weight to the leg that just stepped. I incorporated this to emphasize his effort to be quiet and avoid making any noise.

While creating the cycle, I gathered numerous references from real life and animated cycles. The Animator's Survival Kit was an invaluable resource.
